Beth Hopkins-Acampora, AP is a licensed, board certified Acupuncture Physician and teacher, dedicated to educating the community about the healing power of Chinese Medicine and the Mind/Body Connection. Her specialty is integrating the practice and philosophy of Chinese Medicine to provide a unique and powerful opportunity for healing and personal growth. She celebrates over 17 years serving North Florida.
Beth graduated from Anderson University with a bachelors degree in Education. After 10 years working in the medical-legal profession, she began her studies in Chinese Medicine to share its benefits with others. She is a graduate of the Southeastern School of Neuromuscular Massage Therapy where she received specialized training in various massage techniques. In 1996, Beth graduated from a 3 year master's level acupuncture physician training program at the Mandarin School of Chinese Medicine. Additionally, she received her Tai Chi and Qigong Healing Arts Instructor training at the School of Chinese Arts and Tao Institute in Ponte Vedra, Florida. Beth continues her acupuncture training with Balance Method acupuncture and specializes in fertility enhancement and hands on Qigong healing for a select group of patients.
Understanding the importance of studying with legitimate Chinese masters, Beth trained extensively with Kung Fu and Tai Chi Masters F.J. & Laura Paolillo, (students of Tai Chi Grandmaster Poi Chan), and has continued her studies over the years in training seminars with several of China’s finest teachers including, Master Zhang Xue Xin, Master Yang Yang, Master George Xu, Grandmaster Chen Xiaowang, and Master Kam Poh Lee, all with training lineages that include Tai Chi greats like Grandmaster Chen Fake, Master Kay Chi Leung and Master Li En Jiu. This fantastic lineage gives her healing work a special quality rarely found with Americans who studied solely with Americans.
Beth has lectured for corporations, universities, hospitals, churches & community organizations and has also appeared on radio and television teaching others about natural healing. She is active in national, state and local professional acupuncture organizations.
She is a member of the: AAOM, APA, CAAOM, FSOMA, past vice president of the Northeast Florida Acupuncture Alliance, and past board member of the Pain Association, past president of Jacksonville's Legal Assistant's Association.
